2022 Piedfort Sovereign

Recommended Posts

Is this going to be the final release of Sovereign/Jubilee-related coins for this year, based on previous year's experience? There are so many different versions of sovereign now. So confusing.

Any realise date confirmed on this?

Usually the Piedfort and £5 are the final versions released.

However there have been years when SotDs have been released later in the year, for example in November 2017 for the Queen and Prince Philip’s Platinum Wedding Anniversary.

If the RM does release an SotD for Prince William’s 40th birthday, it will  likely have the regular St. George & the Dragon reverse.

Nothing’s been announced.  We’ll just have to wait and see.
