Tube Capsules and Australian Coins

Guest

Recommended Posts

I like the fact that Australian coins often come in capsules.  I don't use capsules on all my coins but I usually encapsulate the unique ones.  My issue is that the Australian capsules don't always fit in the red-capped tubes I use to store encapsulated coins.  They come very close to fitting, but not quite.  Does anyone know if a storage tube for capsules exists (without getting really big) for these Australian coins?  Also, it bothers me that the 1/10 ozt gold and platinum Australian coins come in very tiny capsules, but I've learned to live with it.  For the 1 ozt silver coins, I know I could take the coins out of the capsules and put them in another, but I'd rather not.

I am talking about the tubes that one uses to store the Airtite capsules.  Has anyone figured out which size is appropriate for these slightly oversized Australian capsules that end up getting stuck in the tubes that I'm using?  Maybe I am using the Type H and I should be using the Type I.
