2021 Una and The Lion Round - Issue with finish?

Recommended Posts

Hello all, my fist foray into The Silver Forum….🖐️

Looking for some insight..

Issue: I purchased a couple St. Helena 2021 Una and the Lion 1oz silver rounds from APMEX, and they arrived today.

They arrived in the customary individually sealed plastic “bag”…and upon opening, examining and testing, I noticed a haze on the deep areas of ALL the rounds both obverse and reverse…although not a proof, I’m disappointed in what may be the QC of the mint during the polishing/finishing process.

Question: Has anyone else noticed the same issue with this round….OR conversely, have normal (for a non proof) polished finishes on their rounds.

Thanks in advance.

So no any quality issues with yours :)

Look a bit weird, but, from the other side, it's not proof, but BU...
