Best postage/courier option from Holland to UK

Guys,

I have a box of 3kg in Holland and trying to figure out the best way to get this over here. I have an option to ship it with insured NR Post which is a Dutch postal or DHL. If you have any ideas or proposals please let me know. I appreciate all the feedback.

What services do you use for international shipping?

Never sent precious metals to the UK before, nor have I heard of NR Post before, but the numerous of other things that I have sent from here in the Netherlands to the UK, I have simply yet always successfully sent with PostNL; https://www.postnl.nl/tarieven/Pakket/GB/2-5kg

Having said that, you can insure up to 5500 euros worth of goods this way. Not sure if this will cover all of the contents in your 3 kg box?

Thanks for your reply, yes, that’s the one I meant. Netherlands Post, I should use the NL shortcut. It has been sent with that exact service. Insured up to €5000. Hopefully it will arrive up to 7 days. Thanks 🙏

Got it! Only 100£ custom charges, I had to give them a value of the parcel. Spot price of course 😭

yes, not bad at all...it’s getting more and more difficult to buy metals in UK at good price, I am happy with paying tax as long as I will get a good deal first. 😃🤙
