Shipping silver overseas?

Hi all,

I'm new here and have a question for someone with more experience than myself.

I've lived in China for 12 years but got caught overseas when covid hit. I've been squirreling away some silver over the years and have around 500oz.

Problem is I can't get back into China!

I want to send/post/ship/courier it back to the UK if possible.

I remember reading years ago that it was impossible? But wondered if anything has changed or if anyone has any information regarding this matter?

it is  possible, this is all about money matters, VAT, import duty ,shipping etc
