This is definitely the other option but never wanted to get involved with loans or credit cards, but as mentioned before it's a very unexpected situation hence the consideration of liquidating the metals.

 

All of the help so far have been very welcome and food for thought, so to speak.

Unfortunately for you that means regular bullion prices and not premium product.
Current price across the Channel right now is £21.55 for 2020 Brits so that kind of gives you a benchmark to determine your price.
