1887 Melbourne Sovereign - cleaned?

Seeking the opinions of the silver forum. Do you think this coin is cleaned or an ex-mount? Thank you for your interest and time.

I bought it loose at a jewellers and they didn't think it had been in a mount.

It does not look cleaned to me (no parallel lines that I can see).

There is a knock on the rim near the VI of Victoria which might be from a clasp of a ring but you would expect others if it had been mounted in a ring.

I am sure someone will be able to tell you if this a rare coin - wide JEB? - so that it has value even if it is ex mount.
