Pool PM Account and Taxes

Recommended Posts

I am having trouble wrapping my mind around how this would/will play out.

So you dont OWN but are ALLOCATED a percent of monster bar as a pool member.

Then you sell your allocation of the bar..... but your not selling silver.. just your seat in a bar.

Is that taxable... and under what?

Does having PM pooled in another country change anything?

I know cap gains are said for owns, or uses for personal investments.. but what if you are just exchanging currency? Isn't silver/gold an actual currency?

Whats your thoughts or play on this?
