2008 American Silver Eagles

Reichpapers

This year seems to have odd finishes for the bullion coins.  It looks to have a combination of matte and shiny areas throughout the coins.   I have seen many that look this way.  The attached pictures are from slabbed examples that showed it clearly (from eBay).  Is this normal?  I have seen this on many years prior to 2010.  After 2010 they always have an even satin finish.  I just acquired a 2008 that has this combination and I want to make sure that is normal.  Regretfully, I could not take a picture that would show this on my coin.  Besides that, there are no abrasions or scratches.
