Yes, you might not want to buy any Sovereigns from me...

Ok, the big reveal... and if anyone has ideas of liberating it, the dogs got it covered... @Sovereign as you were the closet, address please for a small gift (including the owed chocolate).

I'm almost tempted to give it to you, so close yet so far. Anyone gets it spot on will receive a little something in the post... But it won't be the Giant Sovereign!

The Obverse, has a special design by the Royal Mint...

Here's a further clue, I can confirm it was issued by the Royal Mint...

Today I received... This big beauty, with a diameter of 111mm, a thickness of 21mm and weighing 502gms, it's definitely a BIG Sovereign.
So what's it worth..?

Yes I would agree, beautiful matte coin, shame about the rim cut... Should grade well though and maybe early 60's as suggested, images aren't the best, but I would be disappointed if it graded 60. Would be interested in owning it @gazer.

@sovereignsteve & @AgD I'd be happy to let one of the sets go (and they are high grade) but for sensible money... I wouldn't describe £150 as sensible. Happy to discuss by PM if interested.

Today I received... this little set form a very special year! Not my usual pickup, and as I was lucky enough to come across two, one's up for grabs...

Cheers, 2005, 2002, & 1989 sets all graded at 70, just looking for the elusive 2012 set in perfect condition to consecutively grade also!

Lovely proof sets, I'm sure some of the forum members remember using these... Not me!

Got my hands on these bad boys today... Along with the 64 Kennedy half dollars, never thought Silver would be my thing... They're nice but my heart is with the posh pounds (Sovereigns).

Thanks, from my reading the 64's are indeed 90%, my first Silver, guess I'm a silver stacker now...

Not my usual bag... Received a stack of these today, all in, what appears to be, the original mint paper rolls, all bright as buttons and uncirculated (not that I'm an expert on silver!) Don't think they have seen the light of day before..
Any advice or comments would be appreciated. As they're not gold and called Sovereigns, will need to be re-homed, or should they be kept...

Received some nice 1912 Sovereigns today (7) lovely looking coins, nice lustre on many, two for the collection and five to find new homes.
