Totally. I got it with a warning not to bring it within 2 metres of electronics and 1 metre within the distance of people with heart pace makers. I'm wondering, if someone wanted to get rid of granny and inherit her gold asap....

As my small neodymium magnet didn't show satisfying results for my gold coins, I ordered a bigger one which I received today.
It also helped me to separate my copper pennies from my copper plated steel pennies without going through the date of each coin.

Today I received an SA George V small head, on the right. For comparison, a normal head on the left. I think the difference is easiest to tell by the ears and the deeper strike of the hair. The reverse is completely different, if you look closely.

My first none one ounce and none Sovereign coins. I will still focus on Sovereigns and only buy the odd other coin and here with a focus on central Europe.

See answer above. Seems to work fine. All my gold is real. Also tested a few silver coins, also real, will test the rest another day. The only thing that really annoys me is that some of my 2018 Austrian Philharmonic Silver coins spotted badly, since I saw them the last time.

Sorry the previous link was actually wrong, I bought it here, at the same price still stated there and paid £279.80 for tthe PMV PRO Base Unit, the Refiners Wand and the Microwand. I would need to look it up but from my memory the shipping was 130, I think Dollars.

Not really, I only started last year but I plan to continue buying for another 20 years at least, and my first PM purchase ever was a fake, so I  don't want this to happen again. I'm still awaiting my new - bigger - neodym magnete as well.

Got my first double Sovereign today. I also considered £2 coins from this forum but it had to be Pistrucci, this time. Still a £5 and a quarter Sovereign on the list. The scratches and marks are on the capsule.

Well, I don't have any other interesting coins like this. I can more or less tick off silver in my stacking strategy now as I have enough (well, not really but space is an issue already), apart from historic coins like this and now I'm focusing on bullion gold, mainly Sovereigns, with the odd seminumismatic or even odder full numismatic piece. And on more Maria Theresia Talers (and possibly other Talers as well). The shop where I bought it, they said, they get about 3 a year and that was abroad. I don't think I would buy such a coin on let's say ebay. I will try and get more of them, though.

The other day I received, for a second time, my 1776 Maria Theresia Taler, after it was graded, thanks to @Numistacker. Some might describe the grading result as a disaster but I still like it, it's still AU and it was conserved so it is almost as shiny as a new bullion coin, now. My first graded coin - I would have imagined the NGC slabs bigger, from the photos and videos. They are actually quite handy. Given the "detail" result, I will probably still get it out of the slab and put it into a capsule with a foam ring. It still makes a very nice, historical, ungraded coin.

Not the best grade and some copper spots on the reverse. I don't care, it's just nice bullion with history attached to it, for me. Less than one week from Germany to the UK!
