Almost three years ago, I started a journey to show the world the value of silver coins from around the world. I made videos focusing on the culture, history, and stories featured on coins and after a while, caught a following. It was my hope to never use fear as a means to market or draw people to silver but rather focus on common ground. It took some time but now we are at the point of phase two. I not only can bring the joy and education in collecting silver but also, can start giving it away Monthly. It was always a goal and now that I am officially monetized, it is a reality. As I pledged years ago, 10% of what youtube pays me for Ad revenue will be given back in the form of giveaways. I want to one day give away more silver than I have in my stack and in doing so, hope to bring many to the world of metals in a way that might cause a large population to pay attention. I wanted to post this picture as it is a HUGE milestone...The first of a monthly give-a-way that I will do as long as I am active on YouTube. May it be for years and may it spark something in the general public that creates a large audience to start to see our world in 20/20 clarity.

@Britannia47 Great pieces!
-
Here is an example @BipolarStacker I searched 1797 Britannia...Find your coin and it has a wealth of info about it! https://en.numista.com/catalogue/index.php?r=1797+britannia&ct=coin

@BipolarStacker Numista sometimes does have a snapshot estimate of price. You can search for the coin by issuing nation, year, and a collection of other metrics. Then once you find it, there will be information about the coin, mintages, variants and what a good idea of price is. I track many of my silver world bullion coins with it but it is a numismatic website. https://en.numista.com/

Most of these items can be found on the Numista website. It is FANTASTIC for finding old coins!

Your Most Recent Silver Acquisition To Your Stack/Collection

Yes!! I have stuff from around the world...The US is quite bland but I do have some pieces from the US. I track premiums and look up what people are willing to by based on an average and multiple online resources. Ebay for example, I look at sold products and look for a median price. The generic I calculate quarterly based on spot. Seeing as often we sell generic under spot, I figured if I calculate it at spot, I will cover a margin of error in outliers. I have a whole video series on my youtube channel and I go over how I calculate and even the exact coins I purchase as there is a measurable swing based on collectible factors like mintage. I think you would really like the series!

what silver are you buying at moment
CultureOfCurrency replied to guywhostacks10122's topic in Silver
Every month I buy $100 on generic and $100 on premium and have been documenting the disparities between them. I hope over time that the data will help this forum and my viewers understand what is best for their goals! -
First order had a silver buffalo that I gave away whenever I got monetized on YT (very sentimental lol). First premium was the Puffin of Alderney coin! I have documented all of my purchases on YT! Such a fun journey!

Hey there!! I am new to the Silver Forum but not new to Silver! As many of you may know if you are familiar with my YouTube channel (culture of currency), I am aiming to spread silver thought common love and think that this is the best way to bring people to metals. As you know there are many more themes and variations in bullion and that can be the best way to find a coin or series that is of common interest of your loved one you are trying to get into metals. My channel has some benefits of data points I thought would be VERY beneficial for this forum and hope to post here my findings in real time (quarterly). I am doing a study of spending $100 a month on generic silver and $100 a month on premium silver. I am tracking them each quarter and tracking all of the data points to see over time if there are disparities present so that individuals could see short and long term statistics as well as the strength of small amounts monthly! I am so very excited each month to relay this data to the community.... I also have amassed over 130 unique bullion 1 0z coins from around the world where I track them on a 60 point scale to see if they are right for the viewer. It really seems that the higher the coins score on the scale, the higher they are in demand over time. (not all but many). Anyway, I am very excited to be here and hope that I can offer a service to this great place. Below you will find a screen shot of my Q1 findings but if you want more details on my tracking or the other cell data, just let me know and I can relay that to you!

If anyone is interested, I have started to document roughly $100 in premium silver and $100 in Generic to see where disparities lie over time. Quarter one of 2024 is in the books...I have the details laid out below but thought many in this forum may want to watch my progress. I document all of the purchases, methods and results on my YT channel but thought many of you might be interested! Please let me know if you want information about my journey! I am super excited to bring the results to you!
