    I have couple of concerns.
    1. Put a commission bid on, then went to view. It seemed rather shiny for its age, thought it just may have been polished. But reduced the commission bid but couldn't remove it completely.
    2. This left the bid at the opening price of £750 below the estimate of £800-£1200 , so wasn't worried as expected some one to bid in the estimate range. On the day of the sale mine was the only bid! yet there was a proper dealer in the room snapping all the other sovereigns.
So 1. too shiny 2. no body else wanted it!
