OK, thanks for the reply. so now i can put it on my outside metal pile to go to the scrap dealer ^^

I run a second hand shop. Emptying a house, i found a "gold", shinny, broken in 2 pieces, kind of, necklace. I weight it with my hands, super light for the size, not my first time seeing gold, i assume its not. Being conscientious, i grab my magnet, no attraction (after double checking writing this, a slight, very slight rejection). I am still thinking its a c**p alloy, but i get my stone and make a line (a white one). It resist 12k 14k 18k acid testing. but get dissolved my 22k and platinum acid testing. I am not looking at getting rich, but just curious of what kind of other metal/alloy can resist up to 18k gold acid testing. Thank you
