  1. Thanks for your response. I did some testing with yen coins but I shouldn't put too much weight (sorry I had to make that pun) on that testing then I'm thinking? I kind assumed that because they were in a 0.01g radius of what was documented on the Japanese mint site that the scale was pretty accurate. Damn alright. I know some overweight is normal but I didn't know it could be overweight but 0.4g's. That's quite a lot of free silver right there. Thanks for the insights
  2. I'm curious about this. I bought a 2008 silver Maple Leaf second hand from a seller that was relatively well rated so I trusted it. It arrived and I put it on my scale and it came in at 31.53 grams. Now I know that coins are usually a bit weightier than exactly 1 toz, but this seemed a bit too much. I tested the scale with some Japanese yen coins and they were all +- 0.01g off what's written at (https://www.mint.go.jp/). I used a ping test app as well but got inconsistent results. Sometimes it said it was good, other times it said it was bad. I made a post on Reddit as well to get some input but would like to hear what you guys think
