I'll be honest, the deal for the bars wasn't done on the SF it was to a private a customer. They came in and offered the asking price before this guy had agreed to my counter offer of £815. If I'd had no buyer by the time he'd accepted the £815 counter offer, we would have a had a deal. I understand the disappointment but there's nothing sinister or underhand going off here, just someone was quicker to commit to a sale. No big deal or need for dram and they'll be similar bars to buy very soon.

Or you could have just offered the asking price first off and the items would have been secured immediately rather than going in low? Nothing was agreed and it wasn't the only offer that came in at a similar time.
