"Cobbard" 800 Silver Tray Origin Unknown

Hello

I am a new member. I have become a collector of silver  in recent years. I was with an estate sale company in my most recent employment (now between jobs), and was recognized for my skill in identifying and attributing silver, which earned me to a position on the "fine items" line.

Since starting with that company, I have made several discoveries of silver "in the field," so to speak, at thrift stores, rummage sales, etc. Recently, I have acquired an item with origins that have, thus far, eluded my researches. Any information that the forum may be able to offer would be greatly appreciated.

The stamp is rather difficult to decipher; as far as I can tell, it reads "COBBARD" with a purity purity marking of "0800". Other interpretations of the stamp could be "COSSARD," "COGGARD," or even "GOSSARD," none of which yield meaningful results in my searches on online resources.

I will include photos with this post. Any information that the forum would be able to provide would be greatly appreciated.
