Help! Can't identify art nouveau glass holders

Recommended Posts

Hi there!

I thought this is the best place to ask about some glasses I bought wich seem to have handmade silver holders in art nouveau style. There are small markings on each holder wich are just barely recognisable...I think it is initials and one of the letters seems to be a V. Furthermore these holders have 95 etched on the bottom by hand. Each of the holders is handmade and differ from eachother slightly.

I have polished one of them with a plain cotton rag and helps to shine it a bit and green blackish stains get on the rag.

Am I right to assume these are made from silver?

Does anyone recognise the mark?

If anyone has some more information about these I would be very happy!

Kind regards,
