New to the Coin collecting world

Hey Everyone

I have been researching the coin world over the past few days, and I would really like to get some Gold and Silver coins for my small collection. 

I was trying to find the mintage of a specific Silver coin of 2016, namely the Britannia 2016 1 oz Silver, but it proved impossible information to find. 

Can someone guide me as to how to find the mintage information ? Is there a database or website that contains information about all coins, that I am missing ?

Hmmm, tricky. I think the Britannias don't have a set mintage (the mint will make as many as they can sell) but presumably that number is still finite because they change to producing the next year's.

I'm curious,vwhy the 2016 Britannia?

Ok depends if we're dealing with the proof version (7,000) brilliant uncirculated (10,000) or bullion (unlimited)
