Sorry typo should read Xiaomi Mi A1 - I've been buying Chinese for about 3 years now and Xiaomi have come from nowhere to 4th largest global sales

Global smartphone sales by vendor in 4Q17 (Thousands of Units)

    Vendor4Q17 Units4Q17 Market Share4Q16 Market Share
    Samsung 74 026.6 18.2% 17.8%
    Apple 73 175.2 17.9% 17.8%
    Huawei 43 887.0 10.8% 9.4%
    Xiaomi 28 187.8 6.9% 3.6%
    Oppo 25 660.1 6.3% 6.2%
    Others 162 908.8 39.9% 45.1%
    Total 407 845.4 100% 100%

They are massive in China and India. If you are in the UK always make sure you buy the "Global" Version. The 4G works great and I get a better signal than my good ladies trusted Apple thingy?

When buying a Chinese phone the main thing to check is the 2G, 3G and 4G Bands will work in the country you are in or visit.

When we were in Spain on holiday I got 4G on my cheapie Chinese whereas the iPhone only got 3G. We were both using Plusnet - figure that one out!

Snapdragon 625 processor, 4GB RAM and 64GB ROM and you can use either a dual SIM or SIM plus Micro SD.

I used my Xiaomi M1 A1 Chinese Smartphone!! Cost me £140 delivered. I usually buy 3 to 6 month "old tech" and buy a couple of phones a year to experiment with.
As a pure Android phone you can "upgrade" the software to get the Google Pixel Camera - not done it yet but what I've seen on YouTube is impressive!!

DNW and I was the only bidder!! I must admit the coin is better "in the flesh" than I expected for a PF62. Nice it's got Ultra Cameo too.
I hadn't seen it until today other than the Auction pictures.
I am thinking of sending it to NCS and see if they can work their magic.

Sometimes an auction "gamble" pays off and you can tick something off the "Wants" list.

Today I sacked my previous account manager at the Royal Mint.

Forgot to order me a 2018 Beatrix Potter Roger Rabbit 50p Proof for my Grandson - unforgivable!!

Forgot to order me the 2018 Queens Beasts 1/4 Oz Proof Black Bull - plain ridiculous!!

Both were on Regular Order - I was (past tense now) with the Marque Department - sacked them for the normal sales team - far more reliable and friendly!

Actually I class it more as an "Angled RIA" and it is listed by NGC but not by PCGS.

NGC class it as RIA over RIA but if you look you will see that the RI and A lean over to the right. They have graded 3.

Unfortunately NGC have listed at least one of these in error but yours is "spot on"!!

Melbourne Shield 1880's Sovereigns are some of the hardest to find - but that's half the fun - searching them out.

I started off collecting Sovereign's with discipline - but then things just got out of control!!

There was one in The Bentley Collection and I have one.

Both have a double stamped but rotated RIA and don't look like the picture posted in my opinion. If I'm right, NGC have it wrong I'm afraid.

No photo will ever do this justice. Thank you again@Numistacker for sending this to NCS.

The coin had definite finger marks on it before it went and I would have rated it PR65 at best.

    No fingermarks and a PR67 - speechless!

Just give me the keys to the Bentley as your so rich!

A really nice looking Matte Proof. What's the PCGS grade? It looks particularly nice!

I agree that the 1871 looks like the pick of the bunch. Face I would grade at AU58 to MS61. Shield Rear looks a nice MS61.

The 1887 Jubilee Head Small Spread J.E.B. pictured is a rarer coin so would cost quite a bit over Spot I would think.
Grading a coin costs about $40 £30 per coin for earlier coins pre 1975 and $20 £17 for modern coins.

So if you can buy for just over Spot plus the Grading cost then you gave done well.

The ones I listed are all purchased from various Auction's, Fair's and Dealer's. They were all purchased "Slabbed". Striving to upgrade my collection and finding good "raw" coins is not so easy. Bought a few "raw" from the Baldwins Auction - Wander Collection and we will see how they grade.
It's getting more difficult to get good quality coins at the right price - still managing to fill a few gaps though.
I would say that 80% of my "keepers" plus are graded now. I only grade decent or extremely rare coins. I'll put up a few pictures when I get time.

You are finding some nice rarities in great condition!!

This is the infamous and very rare OMG "Open Mouth", Squeezed Cheeks, Long Legs Variety.

I wouldn't be holding it like that though as fingermarks might cause a downgrade.

    What holder will NGC use?

I always wanted to get a 2013 India MS70 Sovereign but even with nearly 500 graded as MS70 not so easy to find at a decent price.
And mounted the wrong way round in the holder!! Does that count as an error?
    Joking......

    An interesting coin.
The holder is incorrectly marked as S-3867 Small Spread JEB but the Population Report is correct as it states the coin is S-3867A 1st Obverse Angled J.
Not as scarce as the S-3867 but a very nice coin with only 2 Graded higher.

Without seeing it in the hand, I would probably give it a PR62, though there appears to be some scuffing on the Obverse which may affect the result.
My advice is always to check your coins with a 5 x loupe which is what the graders use. That way you see what they see.

Not all "Received Today" but seen for the first time together today... now on the way back to the Bank.
Apologies for the quality of the pictures (taken by hand with my Mobile) that don't do the coins justice. Any marks you think you might see are on the plastic cases as the coins are 100%.
I've also got all the Boxes and Certificates for all of these coins.
If anyone has either a 1979 Proof or 1996 Proof Full Sovereign that they no longer need that they feel would Grade as a perfect 70 (or if you have one already graded 70) please get in touch as that would help me complete my 1979 to 2019 date run all in Proof 70 Grade.
All of my set are PCGS except for 2 which I will get Crossed Over to PCGS.
