Thanks for directions but where can we see received feedback? I had I think 7 or 8 positive feedback but it's magically disappeared from my profile.

So do you get to offset any purchases against sales for tax purposes?
No, unfortunately few years ago government abolished tax deductions for citizens except for basic income. To sweeten a deal they first changed VAT from 22% to 23% but that wasn't round number so they changed it to 25% probably for easier calculations

With VAT built into your calculations, does that mean this is a business sale?
No it's not business sale, but in my country any sale is considered income so it's added to citizens annual income and it's subject to taxation yearly. So I have to pay it eventually. Businesses have obligation to incorporate VAT in sale price immediately and pay it monthly.

I am not saying you are greedy at all my friend, I am just saying I can get pre 1947 silver coins below spot over here.
I didn't think you were saying that, I just made joke on my expense. Of course, localy you can almost always find better deals. As numismatist I find a bit hard to sell coins just for silver weight.

I think that you are right but I am greedy so I am excused.
Lets see my huge profit:

-£51,41 spot/market value
-£20,00 VAT (25% - unbelievable but true)
-£ 7,50 postage
