Watching the price go up, down and sideways in the short term got boring for me after a while. Over the last few years I've never let an 'all time high' stop a purchase, knowing there will be a new 'all time high' at some point further down the road. The longer I own it, the happier I am with my purchase. Now, if I can just learn to let go... 😅

I find sovereigns to be very... moreish. Especially the older coins with used patinas, as you say, wondering what they were used for and what life they've seen. Welcome from another newbie.

Hello good forum people New to the site but been slowly collecting for a few years now. Based in the sunny NE of England. The time may be near soon for me to cash in my small collection of silver and gold chips... but I've been saying that for years. There's a chance I'll just end up buying more.
