  1. You can currently buy the silver sets on the RM site at https://www.royalmint.com/shop/monarch/charles-iii/his-majesty-king-charles-iii-silver-proof-effigy-set/
  2. I managed to get another gold set from a friend at RRP as he worried it would lose, I managed to sell it on yesterday for £8.5k so made a decent profit that made the gold set I am keeping for my children a very reasonable price at £5k.
  3. That's what I'm counting on, worth more in the future for my children, although you never know short term what will happen with their value
  4. Yes, I purchased a gold and a silver set To pass onto my children in the future
  5. Not true, one is crowned - just realised you mean the signatures.
  6. Haha sorry been busy, here's info on the release A New Exclusive Collection The Pairing of Two Coinage Portraits of His Majesty King Charles III on Coins Independently Graded at the Highest Proof Standard As we celebrate the historic coronation of His Majesty The King, we are pleased to offer limited-edition gold and silver Proof one ounce coin sets that commemorate the occasion. Each of these sets features the first two official coinage portraits of The King, crowned and uncrowned, along with the signature of Martin Jennings, the designer behind both coinage portraits of His Majesty. A Limited Edition Presentation of only 75 gold and 500 silver sets Hand signed by sculptor Martin Jennings Presented in a case with a Certificate of Authenticity from The Royal Mint Both coins have been independently graded by NGC with a grading of Proof (PF) 70, the highest score on the Sheldon coin grading scale The first time two coinage portraits of His Majesty King Charles III have appeared together in a limited-edition set featuring coins with a grading of Proof (PF) 70 The Royal Mint exclusive set - not available to purchase anywhere else Gold set will not be available to purchase online and is an account managed exclusive set
  7. Absolutely no idea, guess I'll find out Tuesday morning.
  8. I'd take something like that tbh. Seems they've been super secretive with this release unlike usual though
  9. The last time I had a call like this was for the plain edge sets which did amazingly well. I purchased for around £12k and sold on a few weeks later for £19.5k, so hopefully something similar
  10. No they aren't allowed to talk specifics until release day. Just that only 75 mintage sets and in gold and silver. The sets won't be going on the site for general sale, only offered to platinum and platinum+ account holders. Hi and thanks
  11. Hi all, I've been a collector of gold and silver coins for the last 10+ years. I've stumbled across the forum while searching for info on a new release from The Royal Mint exclusive to platinum and platinum+ account holders only, that is being offered on Tues 29th Aug. As a platinum+ account holder my account manager called me to say I will be able to buy the release on Tuesday as my set/s have been secured, but I know nothing of them other than max mintage of 75 in gold and silver and has nothing to do with the British Monarchs collection which is also being released on Tuesday. Does anybody have any additional info? Thanks in advance.
