    Silver spoon

Came across a lovely small sterling silver spoon the other day . It’s approximately 5 inches long and weighs 10 grams. The markings are very clear , and I’ve found that it was made in Birmingham 1854.The maker’s mark is TD and I think it might be Thomas Dones. Although a website I visited doesn’t mention that he produced spoons. The spoon is very clean and shiny , and doesn’t look old which is a bit puzzling. Would be grateful of any help . Thanks !
