I haven't bought the Runes and have no intention to, just not of interest to me. I did however buy a couple of the UV flashlights. I am completely satisfied, they easily have a range of 30 feet or more. I bought them with the intention of verifying US currency and they work great.
On the downside, no Lanyard or attachment point, difficult to find the power button without looking for it, short recharge cable. Without a lanyard, it's just a matter of time until I set them somewhere or they leave my pocket only to disappear under the cushions.
On the upside, cheap! ($15.00).
