Thank you for this video.  Really fascinating.  I'm trying to put a bit aside each month as a different form of investment for the long run.  I think the strategy there is to buy and then just hang on for a LOOONG time and with a bit of good fortune the cash that's initially sunk into the precious metal will accrue in value faster than the base rate of inflation.  I don't think that an average Joe like me should attempt the "rolling stock" strategy that you've just described, as a long-term investment strategy .... but in truth.... I'm guessing and hoping in equal measure.
