To be honest, this Quintuple Sovereign is the jewel in my gold coin collection. I’m only selling it as I’ve set myself a new target 😂 (not joking) 🤣

P.S. Obviously not going to buy these direct from the Royal Mint, probably just the box 🤑

That's what keeps it interesting. My tastes/goals have continually changed over the years

I like to buy the pre-dip rise.

@CoinBug

Just get a tube that holds 10 gold Brits it's smaller and so much easier. Pay the postage and I will send you one for free

Thank you for the offer @Tn21, I have considered keeping the Britannias loose in a Royal Mint tube, but on this occasion I think that the box once full with the encapsulated gold coins will look quite impressive, even if I’ll have to keep it under the mattress 😆

Thanks @James32

I appreciate the nod to this. My collection is substantively proof based. I have bought a couple of 1oz bullion lately but really to use in trades for proofs or to give as presents. I even used one to pay a bill.
lovely coin though and at these rarefied gold £ levels , a v small margin . Good deal for someone looking to add to their ‘as new’ stack

You know what ?

I think I'll start buying from @CoinBug just to be able to unpack his packages with pleasure, he's a master of packaging, opening his packages is pure pleasure, and so is the card attached to the package thanking for the transaction. Pure pleasure from unpacking and then double from looking at the contents in almost perfect condition 😎
