Anybody stack these? I know there are bullion / collectible versions but the premiums don't seem excessive even for back catalogues.

Like all silver the vat can be a pita but still seem to be reasonably cheap . I also like the fact that they have some collectibility with the five different themes each year.

And no, I'm not a VI I have only just started to bid on these on auction sites.

Anyone know a European dealer who has stock ?

Thanks

Even if only buying one from STG, they are £101 landed.

That's not "too" bad.

I personally don't like them very much, and there are too many of them b

Stacker since 2013

I have three so far from silberling.de

It is 5 designs every year so it could be a difficult one to collect....but there are also some winners in the series already

This is a series I'm looking to collect.  However, 4 of the 2012 are difficult to source and are commanding high premiums.  I don't know the history but 2012 is supposed to have the lowest mintage in the 20Ks whereas 2011s were upto 100k+ and other years sitting around 30K+.  Why such varying mintage?

If I can find a set of 2012,I'll deffo go ahead.  If I don't, then I'll probably go ahead.  With 50 states at £100 a piece, we're talking £5k for a full set which is quite hefty.  With at least 6 more years to go let's hope silver does not go up too much.

I could be interested in these in the BU guise. Starting to source this years with an eye to backdating soon. STG looks good with 1oz and fracs to pad out the order.

I started to collect the series when they were first announced, not realising that there would be lots of sets in the future.

I did not buy quickly enough to get the 2012 Hawaii and Denali to complete the 2012 set, they are so expensive now, so I lost interest in continuing. Once silver is back to a respectable spot price I will likely dump my ATB sets, one set is nicely boxed bought from Apmex.

Wish they would've done these in 1oz, I would've liked to collect this set but they just work out too expensive.

I had a 2011 Vicksburg coin..... very hard to sell on ebay, I think the ATB series is not that popular in the UK.

I think the lack of popularity is due to the lack of UK sellers of these coins. Most people don't like buying from abroad. Often people are scared that they might lose money or can't be bothered with customs / vat hassle from getting these coins from the US. The 5oz size is also liable to put off the average collector. After all there are not many 5oz silver collectors out there in the UK

Ps. I would have bought that coin off you, if it was a decent price  :D
