OK, SO I am plucking up the courage to place an order with silver to go, can someone tell me how long it normally takes an order to reach an address in the UK.thanks.

Thanks guys, i am not sure yet which coins,most cost effective ithink,i am open to sugestions but it will probably be an order of five coins to make it worthwhile, if all goes well and i am happy i will probably go on to make a bigger order, is the bank transferring process fairly easy to do?

Yes, they give you their UK bank details and you transfer the cash.

Couldn't be simpler.

word of advice mate, make sure you have the currency setting to £ not Euro when you go through the process of selecting what you want othwerwise when you get the invoice it'l be in Euro and they'll have to reissue another one before you can get their bank details for the free UK transfer in Sterling.  

 

Credit where it's due though, I contacted Livia who we see on here sometimes and was very quick and helpful to reissue another one - if you're reading this then Vielen Dank again!

They are quick at shipping after they have received your payment.

Delivery is by UPS and tracking is pretty good so you will know which day your package will be delivered.

My advice is to max your order within a shipping band to keep your unit landed cost as low as possible.

I think you can get at least 50oz before the shipping cost rises to the next tier and then its only another £5 or something so not a big deal. Depending on the coins you buy, as little as 6 will mean the postage cost is more than offset by the VAT saving. I reckon 15oz or above is optimal though, as the postage then works out at less than £1 per coin.

 

Typically they will ship on the day they receive your payment, or the next day, depending on when you pay. Shipping to the UK via UPS is tracked all the way and usually arrives within 3 days; typically it is dispatched on day 1, gets flown over on day 2, and delivered on day 3.

 

Making payment is as easy as paying to any UK account; they give you their sort code and account number on the invoice they send. Your bank should not charge any fees for domestic payments and they should clear same day or within 24 hours at the latest.

yeah I ordered over 300 ounces and was delivered 3-4 days after payment cleared, don't worry about STG they are well trusted

I picked up my first order from stg today. No problems. Only problem I have is that any coin is delivered while at work so always have to go on a sat morning or if I'm off work go and pick it up from local depot
