Hi everyone , just noticed there are some new products on atkinsons website.I quite like the 2004 unicorn gold one pound coin, it seems to work out at a pretty good price to me. Hope i never got it mixed in with my everyday pound coins though, or it might end up in a jump in the local canal with some bricks in my pocket(silver bricks of course) :D

Just press as the top, then tap the address bar. Press and hold, select all. Copy.

Then here press and hold, paste.

Looks nice, but the premium is a little much for me.

They've had that one for a few weeks at least. Maybe because it's used.

They did have proof older dates 1/4oz gold Brits recently at a good price but they were gone in a flash.

Weight is 19.61g, which at 22ct (916.7 fineness) is 17.976g pure gold.

£470.39 for the coin. Equivalent per ounce £813.90

Actually the premium is not bad at all.

I only collect 999 gold though, is easier to work out the value without getting a calculator out.

Are you not bothered for sovereigns then chris?

The artist formally known as ChrisSilver only parties like it's .999

(even I don't know whether this joke works)

Go on then Helping, well let you have that one, but if they get any worse we might have to report you :D

Nope, unfortunately no sovereigns. I like the design, just doesn't fit into the 999 requirement for me.

If they make a 1oz 999 version I will definitely buy one though ;)

I remember thinking that they were around the same as what the 1/4oz bullion Brits go for on bullionbypost.
