Hi,

Firstly, please pardon my english. I`m new to stacking and just got my first order. In the middle of the ball there`s a ''frosted'' ''dot''.It does not look damaged or caused by the abrasion of the coin against the capsule. Please have a look at the photos under the glass. What`s your thoughts?

Thanks in advance!

I`m not looking to get rich ,I`m just afraid it`s going to be hard to sell it in the future. If it`s oil, pure acetone should dissolve it,right?

it is not hard to sell, maybe EBAY auction then add on a few quid on top to get a new one, saves some FAIRY liquid and time to fix the problem

Looks like a small graze to the mirror finish to  me, i assume the small dome on the medal is the highest part of the re leaf  on the medal, so it been slide across a surface or stacked at some point in its life so i don't think  you will be able to get rid of it

I had a 1oz Noah's Ark with a similar mark.  Turn out to be a contact mark with the inside of the coin capsule.  When I held the empty coin capsule up to the light, I could see a semi-circular wear mark where the raised part of the coin (the sun on this occasion) had been rubbing on the inside of the capsule.

You missed the real error on this coin. Behind the phoenix's head there is a small area that is supposed to be frosted. on your coin it is proof-like. Look at other examples online. I have a roll of these with the same error. Makes me wonder how rare these will be. Mine however are undamaged.

@SilverBeast It took me a while to realise the area you meant, but I see it now.  Mine have the same proof-like area too (as do many images on the Internet).
