Hi everyone,

 

I have 16 full sovereigns I want to put to auction.

Please let me know if interested and also the best way to go a bout the sale.

Hi @GoldPurse best place to list is in the UK ungraded sales section (assuming you’re based in the UK). Can either list there as a straight up sale at a fixed price or choose the auction drop-down and set out your terms accordingly. Would suggest a starting price, fixed end time (auctions longer than 24-72 hours tend to lose people’s interest in my opinion), set increments to bid at (eg, whole pounds etc), detail whether postage is included or on top, pictures and honest details of course. You’ll open yourself up to a greater number of buyers with smaller value lots and can either list them as individual auctions or maybe a few on the same post. Might I also suggest that as you’re without any trading feedback, you’re open to being paid upon receipt of goods (eg, send coins to winner and get paid upon receipt) provided winner has ‘x’ amount of feedback themselves. I wouldn't list an auction for all of them, will severely limit your potential buyers

As you a new member I would suggest maybe you make a couple of sales and accept cash on delivery from established members to build your reputation as very few will pay in advance for anyone without feedback

It depends on what year, rarity etc.

If any are significantly rare you should consider carefully where to list them.  NOT EBAY!

TSF is a very good place to list most Sovs as a starting point!
