Will there be a decent quality inspection done by the dealer prior to them being sent out to customers?

Yes of course, we check each coin for obvious defects reject any that are not up to standard. We can't look at each coin through a microscope but we do our best.

For the newbies, what is the historical price for these ranges?

I wouldn’t want to give a £50 deposit on something I would guess be in the £750 and then find it’s £2k.

Maybe a long term member can guide us thickos.

Appreciate it’s a returnable deposit.

They do state that the refund is returnable but i think they are generally double the price of your typical sovereign of which ever range your looking to purchase

I have no idea myself but I'd probably use the memorial sets and RRP as a rough estimate, though as you said, they could be higher. After seeing how mad the SOTD appreciated, it genuinely wouldn't surprise me if they upped the price of each offering

I did mention the returnable deposit.
So you’re saying twice the bullion or proof price including sets?

Go on admit it….you missed that bit😁

I just don’t want to take an allotment if I’m too poor to buy something.

Like to cross the ‘Ts’……..you know.

With respect, you’re both asking ‘how long is a piece of string’ at this stage.

Wether @Allgoldcoins knows or not, they won’t be able to say otherwise.

Maybe the proof mintage will be similar to the 2022 Platinum Jubilee sovereign or it may not.

Difficult to call, but just to add, the last and the first of any monarch is usually the most popular, historically speaking.

Expected price range for 2023 KCIII proof sovereigns.

Normally yes, but given that we've already had the memorial and the SotD, will this really be considered the first CIII sovereign?

I'm not an expert, and I would bow to the wealth of knowledge on this forum, but I can't really see this hitting the heights so to speak. Also worth considering is the likely huge numbers that will be minted.

I have the first 2, and I won't be getting this, not on release anyway (probably 🤣), it seems like overkill, and this may be the one to suffer. That said I would be happy to be wrong.

It will be interesting to see how this plays out. Obviously the doubles and quintuples will be a different matter.

My thoughts also - especially as the memorials are currently very high on supply side and low on demand side. Not saying this wont change as all the coins are bought up eventually, and they will I'm sure. The economic situation doesn't help either of course...

As you know we can't confirm or deny these prices but can say we will not be charging more than these prices apart from £10 UK or £20 Overseas postage.
