Hi James

Never purchased gold or silver coins before this is all new to me.

Thanks

I'm only messing, just mean when you become a little more experienced 😆

You need any help- advice- at all, just ask. I or hundreds of others will likely be able to help.

I like to buy the pre-dip dip

Thank you everyone for making me feel welcome.

I am new to this and also computers  i don't even own a mobile phone (my better half has one).

I have a few questions that I am sure you will think your teaching an idiot (sorry).

What does PM, COA and SD mean that I have seen on the forum.

Do the proof coins fade and tarnish over time or are they treated in some way to keep their perfect look?

How do you keep the bullion coins looking pristine?

Thank You

All silver will tarnish eventually, just keep hands of it ( wear gloves) and try a keep in a dry airtite environment.

COA'S = certificate of authenticity

SD = Special delivery by Royal mail..the only option that covers the value of metals during transit ( up to £2500 )

PM = either precious metals or more likely "private message"

I like to buy the pre-dip dip

Hi

Thanks for the quick reply I thought everyone would be asleep at this time.

What about gold bullion and proof will they tarnish.

Please forgive my lack of knowledge.

Thank you

we dont sleep, scared to miss a deal!!

James usually wins though as he owns a PM's call centre and employs 35 staff per shift, 24/7, some of them even get a dinner break

It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.

Gold won't tarnish, again wear gloves but will look pretty as long as you own it. Stay away from proofs in silver or gold until you find your feet/direction
