SAM 1KG Silver bar

Hi.

I'm new to buying silver and need some advice please.

Does anyone know if 1kg bars bearing the mark SAM are any good and worth buying? I've found out that they are from Egypt, but that's about all.

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.

I've done a bit more digging since asking the question, and SAM, AKA SPM are listed on the Dubai metals exchange (DGCX) and recieved UAE good delivery autorization for its gold and silver.

I would stick to popular brands - Metalor, Unicore, Royal Mint, Valcambi, vintage bars and the likes.  
Might have a lower drop also in the spot I recon - im a £16 and under man.
