There wasn't much hype regarding great engravers then.....the prices on secondhand markets made people realise that these are collectibles

 I had the 5oz in my basket as fairly low mintage however I just couldn't justify it in the end

Totally agree! The two coins look good together in a set but it makes the gold too expensive in one hit.

Managed to get the 2 ounce silver - easy compared to my previous experiences!

Just to let you know Chards have the silver 2 ounce for sale at issue price.

I thought there were now rivets in the capsules because some of the mint staff found it too difficult to work out which way to turn to close the capsules.

I wonder what do you guys think about the edge on the 10 oz silver version, the edge lettering is in the center compare to the 5 oz that use all the space on the edge.
