Out of Ammunition Options Thread

Recommended Posts

It surely must happen to even the best of us, what's to be done when you find yourself up against an extremely active sales section with an empty magazine! The Horror!

Please submit your coping strategy and save those in need from complete cold turkey (no internets). Best I can manage at this time is to study in detail my wee tube of threepence coins.

Spot goes up and spot goes down when out of ammo how to stay calm?

On the upside, no more waiting in for the postie.

non-refundable deposit

That's a very generous offer James. I have thought for a while now that this PM game is a lot like the drug dealing scene, grams, shady deals in car parks etc. Get thee behind me .....

(joking ofc)

I’ll be honest, if someone comes to me and says they’ve made a poor decision and are looking to unwind their position, I’m going to help them out. I don’t want to sell someone something they don’t wish to purchase. The non-refundable bit is just to sift out the time wasters but also makes items obtainable to buyers that aren’t as immediately cash rich as others. Not actually done it yet but would be open to doing so where it felt right

I've borrowed against next month's budget before.  Not so good at paying it back.

The Sovereign is the quintessentially British coin.  It has a German queen on the front, an Italian waiter on the back, and half of them were made in Australia.

Always an option (at least with me) for buyers to secure with a non-refundable deposit of 10%

These are what I think would be classed as the replies of enablers not exactly what I was expecting. I was thinking more along the lines of how not to buy when skint. I guess you two are as addicted as me then 😍

I resemble that remark.

To use a phrase of a forum legend - How to cope when your "free retail therapy" isn't an option as you can't bear to sell anything to buy more shiny.

Put up for exchange posts.

Or go sh1tposting on the NBS.

pssst...  proof 1/2 sovs if anyone needs a cheap fix 😎

Hm.  I'd not considered halves before, but now I see a definite application.

I might have bought rather a lot of sovs this month.

ditto, always an option for me too

It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.

I have done, or at least completed, deals in car parks before now!

In the UK, it does not usually need to be done in the shade, because our weather is seldom so hot!

It usually comes down to raiding the piggy bank and buying loads of these

Always make sure your ammo box is full by shutting of the gas and leccy meters, eat whatever is in the house and when its gone, get by on new and inventive recipes with water, crumbs from the toaster tray and whatever is stuck to the microwave plate. It'll all be worth it when postie delivers your latest purchase. You might die early of malnutrition but at least the kids will get a new car out of it haha.
