Hi All,

So the best price I have seen online is £393 shipped for a full sov. Was going to hit buy but then I figured I would see if anyone on here can beat that price?

Just after the 1. Not too bothered about what year it is, condition is more important to me than year. Thought I would see what is out there.

@Orpster or @Darr3nG have 2022s available, the price will likely be £400+ post but hear me out 😆

It's the platinum jubilee and why not something special for your first purchase?

FYI dealers are sold out or asking £430+ for this sovereign currently.

I like to buy the pre-dip dip

Unless its listed as UNC/BU on the dealers site and you can see actual pictures of it i would take what they say the condition is with a pinch of salt, I've had plenty of 'cheap' sovs from dealers listed as better than bullion which come like they've been pulled out of a cement mixer :D - good thing about here is people will put up pics and you can see what your getting ;)

I already have the 2022. Bought it a couple weeks back from a forum member and very pleased with it I am too. That is why I am less bothered about the year this time as I already have that one ticked off.

Thanks James,
I am currently selling 2022 Sovereigns in immaculate condition, they are £399 plus post and are supplied in airtite capsules.  I have other years if your not interested in a 2022 which I could do for a bit less.  I will drop you a pm @MoonMeander

Agreed. I've only done the 'random sov' thing once. It was in fact a half, from Atkinson$. It was a 1902 and in my opinion was only hours away from needing melted. Not impressed, and have not done it again. £400 is not a small amount of money, for a couple of extra quid you'll know what you're getting.

Ahh OK... Where's your feedback 😆

I'm sure the 2 mentioned above have plenty of other years available.

Yeah it's how you ( we) get a sense of who we're dealing with....don't just assume everyone is ok, always do due diligence ( people above are gent's though)

For us here in the UK, a lot could depend on the GBP/USD rate...which has been quite influential on the price lately.

I'd recommend "following" @1stsovereign's account. He usually gets some very nice condition Sovs in at v.good prices.

Other than that, just stick around, but be alert, Sovs come up for sale a lot, but they're so liquid, they sell quick!

Buy high. Sell low.

Oh, and upgrading to at least "Silver" account level will help you massively. Unpaid members need to wait a few days before they see what is for sale, by which time the best deals have been ruthlessly hoovered.

Buy high. Sell low.

Could be back to £1450 or just below for a short period. It seems to be the Putin war that is driving up the price of Gold more than anything else.

The question of sending tanks to Ukraine has been the main factor in pushing the gold price up over the last couple of weeks .

Even if so...Will everything just be magically out off stock?

Nothing to do with the fact that Western economies are in the absolute shi**er, with double digit inflation across the board? Trillions in worthless paper money printed due to illogical lockdowns?

Anyway, we're hijacking a sales thread. TBC.

Buy high. Sell low.
