I have bought from them maybe a dozen times, service is good, well packaged and quick delivery - a slightly more detailed review for you :)
I have bought Gillicks, Best Value Sovereigns and 1/4oz Tudor Beasts

Never having dealt with them always prudent to check but so far yourself and James32 are positive which is heartening.

Totally agree, I was the same with Tavex and waited till they had some feedback from the forum

Online and in store collection - both very good experiences.

They have a lot more in stock compared to what they actually list on their website which is always nice. I find the online ordering team handle and package items much better than the staff in store when you purchase from the counter.

Not a regular visitor to London nowadays but doesnt anyone get a little nervous leaving the store with ( hopefully) nice stack of coins in your pockets? Reading about the types of criminals that hang around looking for rich pickings in the capital nowadays doesn't fill me with confidence.

Well, as long as you don't get your coins out and spend a long time examining them in the middle of Oxford Street, you should be OK.

The Sovereign is the quintessentially British coin.  It has a German queen on the front, an Italian waiter on the back, and half of them were made in Australia.

I was thinking more organised gangs rather that a opportunist theft.  Anyone leaving a posh looking place as Sharps Pixley is unlikely to have just made a purchase of the latest Paddington Bear 50p.  Of course its only what I read in papers and I know they love their hysterical headlines.  I suppose like anything in a large city. Be vigilant and use common sence.  Humping a few heavy bars of gold around in a rucksack is probably not recommended 😆 well only as a weapon to protect yourself.

I tried going on their website, But was told I was not allowed. It might be because I'm from Wales. I think they hate the welsh.

You could have been selling to them, so it doesn't follow you will be muggable.

To answer @Bogart's question.  I have used them and a lovely coin turned up the day after I did the purchase.  They get my seal of approval.

Pretty much everyone during 9-19 is walking around with a 1k+ laptop in their bag, the chance of something bad happening is pretty low tbh

Their website detected that you weren't posh enough obviously !  😎

The Sharps Pixley store is located in the posh part of London, a short walking distance from Green Park station or Piccadilly Circus station.

They have been around for years. Having said that, I have only used them once. Their prices weren't as good as other dealers at the time.
