Hi All,

I'm just looking at starting to venture into building a physical stack, mainly as a way to diversify and 'hedge' some of my savings. Hoping to pick up some useful info and tips from those more experienced in this field, which having skimmed through a few threads looks highly likely.

I suppose, like a lot of people unfamiliar with the field I automatically thought of gold bars whenever bullion is mentioned but having now done some basic research I'm leaning toward 'best buy' sovereigns as a place to start. Bullion, whether it be bars or coins, will be my main interest but being something of a history/nostalgia buff (as well as something of a relic) I can see myself possibly looking to acquire some more collectible pieces along the journey.

Looking forward to asking lots of questions and hopefully contributing to the forums.

Welcome and enjoy the journey, you seem to have the right ideas for making a sensible start I hope it goes well for you, I'm just a short few months ahead of you and thinking alone the same lines but as 'm sure others will tell you it's very easy to get side tracked by the many beautiful shinny coins available!!
