2 x 2022 Piedfort Pattern Quarter Sovereigns - NGC PF70UCAM

The Royal Mint issued a five coin gold proof piedfort pattern sovereign set in 2022. There was a mintage of 70 sets.

Each set features a special Royal Coat of Arms celebrating the QEII’s platinum jubilee.

The sets all contain a quintuple, double, full, half and quarter sovereign. Though of course, as piedforts, they are made up of twice the usual weight. So the smallest coin (the quarter) is the weight of the usual half sovereign.

On offer here are two of the quarter sovereigns from two sets. Both are graded as PF70 Ultra Cameo by NGC. They also both have the ‘First Releases’ label.

Only 70 of these gold proof piedfort pattern sets have been issued. Only 13 have been graded as 70 with six having the First Releases label.

Price: £1,400.00 each.

Postage: Special Delivery and fully insured postage is included. Happy to also meet in London if helpful and we can discount the postage if so.
