This looks like a fantastic piece of kit!  I buy the odd coin from ebay (knowing the risks) and had been wondering if there was a simple way of testing authenticity.  Way out of my budget for this run but definitely something I'll keep in mind for future.

Unfortunately there isn't an additional threshold.

With regards to price the biggest thing that affects it is the GBP to USD exchange rate.
