Hi all. Does anyone know when these are likely to be available from UK dealers? They seem to have become available in Aus now.

(Thinking of picking one up along with a 2023 1oz if I like the 2022 1oz as much as I think I will when it arrives.)

Also, is it rude to tag someone in your own post? ;)

nope, it happebs all the time, if you think that person may be able to help it can be just part of your thread instead of sending multiple PM's

It does not matter how slowly you go so long as you do not stop.

Cheers. I'll mention @LawrenceChard than, with the hope that it's not hassling him...

2022 10oz silver Kookaburra

I am happy to be tagged in to conversations, unless a PM is more appropriate such as from Karolina Bielawska.

I see that we @ChardsCoinandBullionDealer already have a page about them:

https://www.chards.co.uk/2022-kookaburra-ten-ounce-silver-bullion-coin/15143

which says:

Whilst the 2022 1 oz silver kookaburras were released on 11th October, the release of these 10 oz coins has been delayed until further notice.

That's all I know at the moment.

The page should get updated once we know more, unless there is an embargo.

11th October 2021

Embargo ended some time ago, many German PM dealers have the 10 oz in stock already.

I had to google who that was.  All I can say is I hope she contacts you and that you can personally deliver her a large order of whatever she wants.

Sure.

Perth Mint ship some stock to Frankfurt for the large German market, but it is better for us to get shipments from Perth, mainly because of German customs, but also shipping from the Frankfurt vault is expensive and impractical.

I am still away skiing, so don't have easy access to full information.

If you are in the USA, SD Bullion currently have 26 available, so move quickly if you need to add to the collection.  I received mine from APMEX ~2 weeks ago and overpaid at spot + $10, but it is what it is.

The 2021 10oz Kookaburras had a measly mintage of 2391.  https://www.perthmint.com/globalassets/assets/documents/mintages/bullion/koala-kangaroo-kookaburra/australian-kookaburra-silver-bullion-coin-series-1990-2022-sep-22.pdf  The 2022's are estimated to be maybe twice that according to Michael at Bullion Now (reputable Aussie source).  Other than very small amounts of coins at APMEX and SD Bullion, I have not seen these anywhere, so what little stock that has made its way to the USA is nearly impossible to come by.  Good luck out there folks.
