2023 Britannia Reverse Proof set release date?

When will the 2023 Britannia Reverse Proof set be released?  What is the normal "drop time" for new year coins from the RM?  I see some 2023 Britannia's with the Queen are already dropping.  But I want to wait for the Reverse Proof King set.

I picked up the 2022 reverse proof Britannia set and hoping to get the 2023 set with the King on it for my collection.

Can we expect a reverse proof set for 2023?

I ordered my 2022 set on the 8th March 2022 - that would have been pretty much when they were first available. From memory it then took around 3 months to be delivered.

The two coin sets sell out pretty quickly so i see no reason for the mint not to produce them next year. 

The 2023 dated Britannias that are currently available are all 'bullion' and bear no relation to the proof coins (except perhaps, they probably share the same quality control department).

I want to make sure I track this so I get one before they sell out.  If I can get in que in time.  I imagine the first set of King's Reverse Proofs will sell out extremely quickly.

LOL @ QC, I know there are so many problems with the RM.  I actually got lucky and bought, from what I can tell, a pretty flawless 2022 Britannia reverse proof set off of ebay a couple of months ago.

Hoping we hear some news on these soon.  This will probably be one of my last silver proof sets I buy for a while.

It feels that way, and I think it's unfair for us in North America, we won't know about hot releases until we wake-up and everything would be sold out by that time........

At least you don’t have to wake up at an ungodly hour to watch the biggest boxing matches which are always in favour of NA audiences. Save Ali who was happy to fight in Africa at times.

I think Royal Mint should offer a public release schedule for its most well known releases such as The Sovereign, Britannia, Great Engravers. Good luck everyone and I hope you get what you want.

it shows 118 at the moment. But sometimes this number grow, as the RM add stock.

I am also going to order one of the silver proof two coin sets and the 1/4oz platinum proof. I like the design and it is the first Britannia with the King’s portrait. Got to be a winner! 🤣
