Just a quick hello everyone, I’ve recently just started collecting, when I first started researching I took a liking to a few of the South Korean komsco coins so started my collection there

welcome! I really like the Korean Tiger coins, I don't have one though, quite hard to get hold of! 

If you haven't discovered him already, Martin over at silvertrader.uk offers more collectable coins, including the komsco series with the depictions of the heroes: Chiwoo, zi:sin tigriss etc

Thanks .. yes I’ve already discovered Martin, he’s who I’ve purchased the majority of my coins from so far, I have a few from each of the chiwoo and zi sin series, I thought I’d join the forum to see if I can collect some of the older ones as I’ve started collecting about half way through the series 

ive not too keen on purchasing from eBay ect just yet as I’m pretty new to collecting so probably wouldn’t recognise any fake coins

Yeah eBay can be a dodgy place, and very overpriced! Occasionally there are good deals though. 

Good luck with finding the older ones, you can always put up a "wanted" add in the trade section, and if anyone has some they want to part with, they can get in contact with you

Thanks I’ll take a look around the trade section, I’ll probably sign up for premium membership in the near future
