Received this back from grading recently. I was delighted with the grade and admiring it in the slab, and then I saw this dark spot on the edge 😢

I’m still harbouring some hope that it’s just one small dark spot and considering it’s on the edge, not really that visible. My concern is that it will turn in to one of those large scorch marks seen recently with NGC graded RM silver…

Has anyone experienced the recent NGC RM silver issue that have scorch marks near the rims? Is this how it begins? 😬

Scorch marks?

Are you trying to blame Charred Coins?

Are you sure this was not there before you sent it?

I believe so. If I had missed it, I'm not sure it would've got a 70.. I'm guessing it's occurred after being slabbed.

Na. When you buy Charred coins, you know where you stand with them 😎
