PF70

PF69 Ultra Cameo

Which is the better coin from a resale/value point of view? And is it the same for all gold coins or am I generalising too much?

"Which is the better coin from a resale/value point of view?"

Dunno!

"And is it the same for all gold coins"

Pass!

"or am I generalising too much?"

Probably!...

or possibly doing the opposite, and trying to overthink everything.

If for investment, buy gold coins at the lowest premium possible.

If for personal pleasure, just buy what you like best, and don't worry that it might not be the best investment.

As Bob Marley might have said:

Don't worry about a thing,
'Cause every little thing gonna be all right.

I don't know why he called it "Three Little Birds"

Well to make it simple, as I like things like that.

For example let me take a 2022 Britannia say.

Choice a PF70 or PF69 Ultra Cameo if at same price?

Oh and the 3 birds is something about some birds, feathered types, that used to hang out with him and who knows maybe shared his weed.

It might just be the case that it was an older coin graded ages ago when the TPG companies didn't faff about with cameo and ultra cameo designations.

This is one of the reasons why I'm not particularly interested in graded coins, but I appreciate that some people like them very much.  There's room for all of us in this hobby 🙂

I do not deliberately go hunting graded, as usually proof and shall we say a tad more than the bullion equivalent😃

Though if one happens along what I am looking for I will bite. Only have one graded an MS70
