Could it be news of the next Sovereign release to help people get over the commemoratives disappointment?

Just saw this email. What month was the 2022 Sovereign released? Because I imagine that's still selling really well.

 

I think it's the 2023 Britannia, Bullion by post had 2023 Britannia's listed "estimated stock date is 11/10/22", which has since been removed.

The proof 2022 sovereign was the first to be released in the middle of November 2021 and then the bullion a month or so later, so I'd agree with you that it shouldn't be the new sovereign the timing isn't right.

The proof sovereigns come first, and Atkinsons have no business with them, so it's not sovereign related.

The announcement for those was due on the Thursday the queen died so pretty much fell of the radar.

 Well given the crossover between buyers of Harry potter coins and memorial coins it's probably a good idea to space the releases out

I know the announcement didn't happen like it was supposed to but I don't think it affects the timing of the release. I think it was just a reveal of the design but as for release date.... I think that's still to be announced.
