customs declaration fee?

Recommended Posts

I just saw a 50G gold bar from a dealer in Europe, the premium is about 2%, but when I try to pay the above amount plus a customs declaration fee is about 40 euros, but I used to buy goods from other countries Without such a thing, what is it? The fee is so high. Does it cost such a high fee to fill out a form? Or is it just a way to divert a portion of the amount to other items to make the price of the item attractive?

i doubt that anything has changed about importing gold from Europe to Taiwan.
The customs declaration will be the same it has always been so to speak. i suspect that they are charging this 40€ and so are able to put up a misleading and artificially low headline price.

The dealer may be fleecing you.
I don't know for sure but it seems suspicious.
All goods exported require a customs declaration - contents description, quantity, weight (possibly) and value and it is generally good business practice to include the international customs commodity code. The declaration is basically an abbreviated copy of the invoice usually entered onto a computer otherwise on to a label. Charging a fee for this that takes a couple of minutes to prepare is outrageous.

If it is a lie, I don't think it should be, because the dealer is in the banner sponsorship on the right side of the computer version of the forum...👉 After all, the 2% premium is really attractive, and after adding the "customs declaration" and shipping, the premium is nearly 5%, and Not many dealers I know of and mostly out of stock as I just happen to have a wise pound fund to work with, probably just enough to buy a cheap 50g bar, so any better (cheap)suggestions? 😏   Ihave ask why custmos declaraction need more fee,but have no reply for 3days, they reply my question always in next day

It's all just their pricing strategy - the bar is cheap, shipping is expensive, but they are transparent about the fees so it's up to you to decide if the total price is ok for you or not.

There must be many other dealers to choose from and compare their price incl. shipping and all other fees. Upon a quick look, coininvest.com may be an option for you as they seem to have various 50g bars available at below 2% premiums.
