Excuse my ignorance, but if an order was made from Belgium to be posted to Britain (I'm not keen on "shipped" or "the UK"), would customs just add the VaT on when it arrived here?

Probably the UK customs will add VAT and maybe even some taxes but I don't know how the UK import taxes work ...

I was litterally thinking the same thing as I have had a few items that have not had import tax added.
Having said that as I intend to trade my silver for gold at some point, the VAT is passed on now as normal.

But it would be nice to save 20% on purchase price. if it dips under 14% I will probbaly buy from Europe & send to Poland.
just with Solar Panel & electric cars & robots (ignoring Davos & CBDC's), thats a very bullish outlook in the next 20 years.

Everyday I wonder how they manage to keep it so flipping cheap, comparing to platinum (for example).
Its only proper up from derivatives from what I can see & spoofing.
When the general public get on to this paper assets wont stand a chance!
Little view into that panic on the squeeze last year & basel 3.

I had to look up Basel 3. It sounded like something from Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy.

@Earthmetal you can end up going down so many rabbit holes to try and understand justify silver, nothing wrong with leaning about new things, however watch some old  YouTube videos, they were all pumping Basel3 and telling everyone to get in on the action now as silver was going to the moon……is gone down in price over the last year only moved 10% in the last 3 years it’s categorically not keeping up with inflation.
